# Staking AMPLY

Maximize your returns by staking your $AMPLY tokens. Here's a step-by-step guide:

1\.  Navigate to the AMPLY Page

* Ensure you have $AMPLY in your wallet.

2\. Specify Maturity and Staking Amount: Choose how long to stake $AMPLY for and the amount of tokens to stake

* Maturity periods available: 3M, 12M, 24M, 48M. 
* Corresponding vault multipliers: 2x, 10x, 20x, 50x
  * The multipliers reflect a higher APR if you choose a higher maturity period. 
  * For example, if you stake $AMPLY for 12 months, you will expect to receive an APR that is 5 times higher than if you only staked the tokens for 3 months

3\. Confirm transaction: Click the “Confirm” button to complete the transaction and your staked amount will be reflected accordingly

Important Considerations:

* Once your $AMPLY is staked, you can only [withdraw](/using-amply-finance/staking-amply/withdrawing-amply.md) at the end of maturity
  * You can [claim](/using-amply-finance/staking-amply/claim-amply-rewards.md) your $AMPLY Rewards earned from staking anytime
* You have the option to [upgrade](/using-amply-finance/staking-amply/upgrade-amply.md) the staking period and/or deposit more $AMPLY
