# Deactivating eMode

You can deactivate eMode, provided it meets borrowing and health factor (HF) requirements:

1. Open your “Enable E-Mode” card by clicking on the green "E-Mode:" box
2. You will see the option to “Exit E-Mode” on the bottom of the card.

* When deactivating eMode, your assets will return to their default LTV settings. If your borrowing exceeds the lower LTV (e.g., stablecoins dropping from 90% to 80%), you will need to repay or adjust collateral first
* You can only exit E-Mode if your Health Factor > 1.0
